Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. (KJV)
Por esto fue llamado el nombre de ella Babel, porque allí confundió Jehová el lenguaje de toda la tierra, y desde allí los esparció sobre la faz de toda la tierra. (RVR1960)

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: (KJV)
Yo a la verdad os bautizo en agua para arrepentimiento; pero el que viene tras mí, cuyo calzado yo no soy digno de llevar, es más poderoso que yo; él os bautizará en Espíritu Santo y fuego. (RVR1960)
Reflection
At Babel, people tried to make a name for themselves, and God scattered them. John the Baptist pointed away from himself and said Someone greater was coming. True greatness is not building our own name, but pointing others to Jesus. Today, serve humbly and let Christ be seen.
Prayer: Lord, keep me from pride. Help me serve with humility and point others to Jesus today. Amen.
Reflexión
En Babel, la gente quiso hacerse un nombre, y Dios los esparció. Juan el Bautista señaló hacia otro y dijo que venía Alguien mayor. La verdadera grandeza no es hacer grande nuestro nombre, sino guiar a otros a Jesús. Hoy sirve con humildad y deja que se vea a Cristo.
Oración: Señor, guárdame del orgullo. Ayúdame a servir con humildad y a guiar a otros a Jesús hoy. Amén.
